In your InnoVault account, you will create a client to read your protected records and form associated with that client. You will get a token for your new form.
On your front-end, adding a line of code and your new form token is enough to get InnoVault encryption for your data. Designate fields for encryption with a simple tag.
As the form is submitted, the protected records are automatically encrypted in the browser with InnoVault’s end-to-end encryption. InnoVault encrypts with multiple layers for security and convenience.
All those keys are handled for you. InnoVault handles the keys for your account, so you don’t have to do your own key management.
The encrypted data is sent to your InnoVault. Your tagged records are safely stored in our protected database. All other data is handled just as it has been before.
For each record stored in your InnoVault, a unique record ID is provided. You can store this in your database alongside any form data you chose not to encrypt.
When it’s time to put your protected records to use, you can use the InnoVault SDKs to retrieve and utilize your records as if you were working with any other data. The complexities of end-to-end encryption are handled for you.
Even sensitive data sometimes needs to be seen by different systems or teams. InnoVault records can be shared without ever having to put the datain the clear.
